Peek, Play and Enter to Win!

With two boys who have a lotta-bit of mamma's creative gene- we a rolling in Legos here. Many a quiet evening is spent sifting through a huge mound of Lego brick spread all across the floor, clicking and snapping a masterpiece together, one little brick at a time. My older guy Ryan has graduated to the uber cool architectural series- while Liam still lives happily in the primary colored bricks and Star Wars Lego sets. Needless to say, I will be calling it an early day on Friday and heading out to the Lego movie!

I have wanted to design a kit to work with the tons of photos I have of these Lego moments- and I wanted to keep the pallet neutral to make sure the masterpieces took center stage. The elements needed to capture the spirit of the creative hands at work in a fun and timeless way- and when I sat down at my desk- I was truly thrilled it all came out exactly as I had planned!
And to boot- I have teamed up with Andrea of Little Green Frog Designs who has made some awesome template sets that coordinate with my Kit and Journal Cards-  I think it's so fun that I have a design about building teamed up with a template that makes it super easy to build a beautiful layout!  Look at how beautifully the ForeverJoy kit and Little green Frog Templates *click* together:

And- because its always fun to play together- Andrea and I are both offering a bundle of Model Behavior goodness.  Just leave a comment below about your favorite imagination powered memories and Mr. Random will choose one person to win my new design MODEL BEHAVIOR and both of the Little green Frog templates!  Then- click over to Andrea's blog HERE and enter for a second chance to win!

So, have a little fun and click a comment below- then clack over the the LGF blog and leave one there! See you Thursday!

  1. Oh my gosh, love this! Legos are an obsession in our house and I have the foot injuries (from stepping on those suckers) to prove it! :)

  2. Oh, love this, a must have! Imagination powered memories? I used to do a lot of outdoor play like Chinese jump rope, freeze tag and anything that involved running and jumping. I can't remember any imagination powered memories at all. But, my kids play with blocks and my daughter makes pretty rainbow loom bracelets and rings! Thanks for the chance!

    1. It's SO funny, I was just talking about Chines Jumprope- and how no one plays it anymore- as a kid who could not doubledutch- it was go-to at recess! ;)

  6. Oh, wow, we have TONS of legos around here! When my sons were young, I got to help them build some of their sets, but now they don't let me near them (except to step on a piece occasionally - ouch!).

  9. How exciting! I have a 13 yo that is still a builder to this day and a 3 yo that loves to build with him. We spend hours creating. For his 11th birthday, we even had a Lego Party and went to a Master Builder event for the new Lego store in town

  16. Thanks for the chance to win! My little guy loves Legos, Lincoln Logs, and has even used a jenga game to design an intricate building. I loved legos as a kid so its something we have been able to do together as I get bored sitting on the floor pushing a truck or car back and forth. =)

  21. Receiving a Lego Train set as a kid was a huge thing. There wasn't all the extra goodness available. I ended up opening it up before opening any other presents. I love that imagination and creativity are so easily attained with a bucket of legos.

  22. Great kit! I really should take more photos of my boys playing lego. It is a favourite past-time in our home. The boys also love taking all the sheets and couch cushions to make huge forts in my living room - I've learned to relax. They are building memories.

  23. love the new kit!! I remember as a little girl more playing with my dolls and barbies. When I was in my room, my mom would say it sounded like there was 20 different people in there. lol As a mom of 2 boys, it's fun to be on the other spectrum and help them develop their imaginations by building things and of course, getting to knock them down, playing outside in the mud and dirt, building forts, and all the fun stuff that little boys add to our life.

  25. Looks like you've done it again. Having raised two boys and now enjoying a pre-teen grandson, I could hear the sound of small hands rummaging through piles of plastic as I read this post. For years I thought we had multi-colored plastic floors. What wonderful memories you've brought back. I can't wait to see those background papers. They look fabulous!

  29. Lego is Danish, and as the wife of a Dane, I'm pretty much legally required to point this out any time they come up. ;) My girls are massive Lego brick fans so I could definitely use this kit. And I loved them as a kid too, but fun memory? We were the only kids we knew with huuuuuge oversized Tinker Toys. Like, we used them to build forts we could actually go into. Best. Ever. I wish I had huge oversized Lego bricks! :D

Just today I had a huge pile in my living room as the youngest was here building with Grandma's Legos, We are getting lots of fun photos of them and this kit would be so awesome. Love it!

Two years ago the local museum had a Wizard of Oz exhibit and one of the things we could do was build the apple tree like in the movie. My husband and son had so much fun and when they were all done we bought their masterpiece.
